Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor – LCPC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Deliver full-time outpatient clinical services via Brave Health's telehealth program.

• Administer mental health treatment utilizing telehealth technology.

• Collaborate with patients of all ages through commercial health plans, Medicaid, and Medicare.

• Complete 30 hours of client care weekly, averaging six clients per day.

• Apply diagnostic knowledge, treatment planning, and thorough assessments.

• Partner with clients to reach their treatment objectives.

• Serve patients with chronic severe mental illnesses, including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, or schizoaffective disorder.

• Potentially secure additional state licenses as Brave Health grows into new regions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's level degree and appropriate licensure.

• Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) or relevant independent clinical licensure.

• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.

• A dedicated work-from-home environment that ensures privacy for patient safety and HIPAA compliance.

• Proficiency in English; Spanish is preferred, with additional languages being a plus.

• Familiarity with mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses.

• Skills in treatment planning.

• Proficient in using telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools.

• Experience in collaborating with clients to achieve their goals.

• Capability to utilize comprehensive assessments.

• Willingness to complete 30 client care hours per week, approximately six clients daily.

• Background in working with patients suffering from chronic severe mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, or schizoaffective disorder.
