Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, LCPC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Deliver outpatient services via Brave Health's telehealth program.

• Provide compassionate and high-quality mental health services.

• Collaborate with clients to meet their treatment objectives.

• Assess and diagnose mental health and/or substance abuse disorders.

• Create personalized treatment plans.

• Perform thorough assessments.

• Offer care to patients across all age groups through commercial health plans, Medicaid, and Medicare.

• Complete around 30 hours of client care weekly, averaging six clients daily.

• Utilize telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools.

• Assist in expanding into new markets by acquiring additional state licenses as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's level degree along with licensure.

• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.

• Adequate privacy in the home workspace for patient safety and HIPAA compliance.

• Proficiency in English.

• Spanish language skills preferred; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.

• Understanding of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses.

• Experience in treatment planning.

• Comfortable using telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools.

• Proven experience in partnering with clients to achieve their goals.

• Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments.

• Currently fully/independently licensed in a state.

• Willingness and capability to complete 30 hours of client care weekly.

• Experience with patients suffering from chronic severe mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, or schizoaffective disorder.
