Licensed Civil Engineer – Site Design

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Execute project management responsibilities on small to medium-sized projects

• Develop planning and design documentation

• Conduct design calculations

• Collaborate with other Olsson teams, professional staff, technical personnel, and clients

• Travel to job sites for site observations and participate in client meetings

• Undertake various engineering tasks related to assessing, designing, and constructing plans for projects ranging from small to large scale

• Assist in the preparation of project documentation while being knowledgeable about project scope, timeline, and budget

• Carry out process design calculations and analyze reports to prepare cost estimates and assess project feasibility

• Utilize knowledge and experience with standard techniques, methods, and procedures to support the coordination of project design elements

• Communicate project development and status updates with project managers and/or clients

• Enter and maintain project details and client records in the company’s project management system

• Assess and suggest modifications to standard methods and procedures for various components of assignments

• May oversee and provide technical guidance to junior staff

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to collaborate effectively and work well within a team

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering

• Must hold a valid Professional Engineer license

• Proficient in Civil 3D
