Licensed Child & Family Therapist, Measurement Based Care – Part-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver evidence-based teletherapy services to children aged 6 to 17 and their families.

• Implement Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure Response Prevention, Parent Management Training, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), and other evidence-supported interventions.

• Ensure timely and precise clinical documentation, including intakes, treatment plans, and progress notes, utilizing the specified platform.

• Conduct thorough intake and diagnostic assessments for child and family clients.

• Execute multidimensional evaluations of family dynamics, school settings, medical history, and cultural factors.

• Evaluate risks and safety concerns, including suicidal ideation, homicidal ideation, and non-suicidal self-injury, completing safety plans as necessary.

• Apply standardized clinical measures to aid in diagnosis and ongoing treatment.

• Monitor client progress using session-level measures that integrate both client-reported and clinician-assessed perspectives.

• Maintain a caseload of at least seven clients, preferably during peak hours in California.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s-level therapist with independent licensure in California (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or equivalent).

• Clinical background in providing psychotherapy to children and families.

• Proven experience in addressing common pediatric mental health issues utilizing evidence-based methods.

• Strong skills in diagnosis and assessment.

• Comfortable with delivering care in a virtual environment and utilizing technology in clinical practice.

• Interest in or experience with measurement-informed care and tracking treatment outcomes.

• Capability to manage a minimum caseload of seven clients.

• Availability preferred during California peak hours: Monday to Friday, 3 PM to 7 PM, and weekends.
