πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Manage and address high-end Public Entity General Liability cases involving serious injuries, intricate coverage issues, and legal inquiries or disputes.

β€’ Formulate strategies to achieve satisfactory resolutions for cases.

β€’ Review reports and forms; respond to inquiries; seek legal opinions for early resolution; and communicate outcomes to relevant parties.

β€’ Handle complex claims involving serious injuries.

β€’ Respond to decisions, agreements, and/or court orders; develop action plans; assess the need for examinations; and obtain client authorization.

β€’ Identify cases suitable for settlements or redemptions.

β€’ Collect and document additional information while coordinating with client representatives.

β€’ Request legal and private investigations; assign tasks to local counsel; and oversee the performance of local counsel.

β€’ Address requests from plaintiff's counsel, unions, employees, or clients.

β€’ Recognize issues and devise defense strategies.

β€’ Establish or modify accrued liability and authorize administrative expenses.

β€’ Identify subrogation opportunities and manage the associated processes.

β€’ Attend and engage in mediations, trials, arbitrations, or hearings as required.

β€’ Collaborate with partners to promote early return-to-work initiatives.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ A minimum of five (5) years of experience in General liability claims management or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

β€’ A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred.

β€’ Experience in managing high-end Public Entity General Liability cases that involve serious injuries and/or complex coverage scenarios.

β€’ Proficient in handling legal inquiries or disputes.

β€’ Possess clear and conceptual thinking capabilities.

β€’ Demonstrate excellent judgment, troubleshooting skills, problem-solving abilities, analytical thinking, and discretion.

β€’ Ability to manage work-related stress effectively.

β€’ Capable of handling multiple priorities simultaneously.

β€’ Ability to meet deadlines consistently.

β€’ Proficient in computer keyboarding.

β€’ Willingness to travel as necessary.
