This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage assigned desk claim files through resolution, adhering to relevant claims-handling regulations and program guidelines.

• Request evaluations, estimates, cause and origin reports, and other necessary documents to investigate claims.

• Interact with customers via their preferred communication channels, including phone, text, email, or mail.

• Analyze estimates and reports and process payments due under policy contracts.

• Ensure high-quality claim files through comprehensive documentation, regular diary entries, appropriate coverage application, and compliance with claims-related laws and regulations.

• Compose precise exterior estimates.

• Assist customers through the claims process with empathy, accuracy, and efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in adjusting Property and Casualty Insurance claims.

• An active adjuster license is required.

• Experience in homeowners, condo, or landlord insurance is essential.

• Xactimate experience is preferred.

• Familiarity with third-party claims and first-party litigation is advantageous.

• AIC and/or ARM certifications are a plus.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are mandatory.

• Comprehensive understanding of standard claims practices, estimating, claims processes, coverage application, subrogation, SIU, and related claims issues.

• Experience in subrogation, fraud investigation, or property damage estimating is a bonus.

• Above-average computer skills are essential.

• Capability to independently learn new software rapidly and utilize online resources effectively.

• Ability to handle a significant workload with minimal supervision.

• Must be authorized to work in the US.
