Level 3 / Level 4 Respite Care Provider

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver respite care services at the family’s home, a government-operated Child and Youth Services (CYS) facility, or any location authorized by the Contract Office Representative.

• Level III: Assist with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation, bathing, feeding, toileting, lifting, positioning, dressing, and ensuring the safety of the individual.

• Level IV: Carry out all Level III responsibilities while also providing care for complex medical conditions, including seizure management, tube feedings, tracheotomy suctioning, and monitoring home medical devices.

• Render services in the local time zone of the installation.

• Aid clients and families in technically demanding and mission-critical settings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must satisfy at least one qualification pathway for the relevant provider level.

• Level III Path 1: An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, such as child development or special education.

• Level III Path 2: A current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with a minimum of three years of experience working with individuals with special needs.

• Level III Path 3: A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or related degree with at least four years of direct, documented experience in working with individuals with special needs.

• Level IV Path 1: A current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.

• Level IV Path 2: A current and unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with a minimum of five years of experience working with individuals with special needs.

• Level IV Path 3: A current Registered Nurse (RN) license or a bachelor’s degree in a related field, alongside at least three years of complex-care experience working with individuals with special needs.

• Services may be conducted throughout the continental United States (CONUS), Alaska, Puerto Rico, and Hawaii.

• Must be available during local installation hours from 0600 to 2400, seven days a week, not including federal holidays.
