Legal Counsel, Agricultural Company Law and Rural Law

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Provide guidance to farmers and forestry owners on the selection, establishment, and development of agricultural legal frameworks (EARL, GAEC, SCEA, commercial enterprises, GFA, etc.)

• Draft legal and/or tax analyses and documentation pertaining to operators' initiatives, covering everything from business initiation to succession and transfer.

• Stay updated on legal and regulatory changes.

• Work in conjunction with specialized advisors in business initiation and succession to foster connections between outgoing and incoming operators.

• Conduct meetings and training sessions for farmers.

• Travel within the department as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Education: Advanced agricultural degree with a focus on Company Law, Tax Law, or Business Law.

• Familiarity with rural law is preferred.

• Proficient legal drafting skills.

• Strong analytical and synthesis abilities.

• Exceptional interpersonal and listening skills.

• Detail-oriented and self-reliant.

• Enjoys working in a team environment.

• A valid driver’s license is mandatory.
