This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Respond efficiently to client inquiries and assess their needs.
• Monitor case progress and maintain relevant documentation.
• Assist with client communications throughout the lifecycle of each case.
• Prepare legal documents, recommendation letters, and additional supporting materials.
• Keep case information accurate, organized, and current.
• Adhere to attorney directives and established legal protocols.
• Support both administrative and legal operations.
• Perform case and client management tasks using MyCase.
• Deliver customer service via email and phone.
• Handle incoming client calls and arrange appointments.
• Conduct legal research as assigned by attorneys.
• Draft immigration forms utilizing Docketwise.
• Compile complete case packets for attorney review.
• Full-time position.
• Work schedule must align with Pacific Time (PT).
• Experience in U.S. immigration law is preferred.
• Prior experience with legal case management systems is preferred.
• Experience in preparing immigration forms and legal documents is preferred.
• Comfortable communicating with clients via phone and email.
• Ability to work independently while adhering to established procedures and attorney instructions.
• Strong attention to detail in preparing case documentation and packets.
• Capable of maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information professionally.
• Knowledge of Portuguese is required.
• Previous experience in a legal support, legal assistant, paralegal assistant, or related role is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Exceptional organizational and documentation skills.
• Professional and client-focused communication approach.
• Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new systems, procedures, and workflows.
• Familiarity with MyCase for case and client management.
• Knowledge of Docketwise for immigration form drafting.
• Experience with Elevate for VoIP communications.
• Proficient in Google Workspace for email and calendar management.
• Utilization of Google Chat for internal communication.
• Use of MyCase Chat for team and case-related interactions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Skills in customer service and client relationship management.
• Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Quick adaptability to new processes and technologies.
• Capacity to follow instructions carefully and consistently.
• Professional and empathetic communication skills with clients.
• Legal research and analytical thinking skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate case records and documentation.
