This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Engineer, configure, maintain, and enhance legal applications that boost attorney productivity, document creation, comparison, citation, automation, and matter workflows.
• Oversee the entire application lifecycle, which includes requirements gathering, testing, packaging, deployment, upgrades, integrations, monitoring, and retirement.
• Support and improve firm-standard document templates, document automation tools, and associated legal technology workflows.
• Integrate legal applications with iManage Work, Microsoft 365, identity platforms, endpoint management tools, and enterprise systems.
• Package, deploy, and manage applications utilizing Microsoft Intune and contemporary endpoint management practices.
• Troubleshoot intricate application, integration, performance, and document workflow challenges alongside attorneys and IT teams.
• Develop standards, documentation, operational procedures, scripts, workflows, and repeatable automation processes.
• Assess application usage, performance, and support trends to enhance automation, standardization, and user experience.
• Assist in the evaluation, configuration, and responsible use of AI-enabled legal technology tools.
• Engage in change management, release planning, vendor coordination, and production support.
• Provide advanced support for legal applications, integrations, add-ins, templates, and document production tools.
• Conduct root cause analysis and apply lasting solutions for recurring application issues.
• Test and validate application updates, configuration changes, security updates, and deployment packages.
• Manage application access, licensing, permissions, and configuration.
• Maintain documentation that outlines support procedures, configuration standards, integrations, known issues, and escalation paths.
• Collaborate with Practice Services, attorneys, legal assistants, business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to deliver dependable application solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Experience in supporting, configuring, or developing legal applications within a law firm or professional services environment.
• Strong knowledge of legal document workflows, Microsoft Word add-ins, document templates, document comparison, citation, and document quality tools.
• Familiarity with iManage Work or an equivalent document management system.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365, Windows endpoints, application packaging, deployment, and modern management tools such as Microsoft Intune.
• Understanding of SaaS applications, cloud-based delivery models, identity and access concepts, integrations, and enterprise support processes.
• Ability to diagnose complex application issues across desktops, cloud services, integrations, permissions, and user workflows.
• Strong skills in documentation, communication, prioritization, and vendor management.
• Capacity to work independently, manage competing priorities, and exercise sound judgment in a deadline-driven environment.
• Preferred experience with BigHand Create, DocID, HyperStyles, Litera, Best Authority, or similar legal productivity tools.
• Experience with Intapp products is advantageous.
• Knowledge of application packaging, PowerShell scripting, endpoint troubleshooting, or automation is beneficial.
• Background in application rationalization, modernization, migration, or cloud-first workplace initiatives is desirable.
• Prior experience assisting attorneys, legal assistants, or practice groups in a multi-office law firm setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled legal technology, Microsoft 365 Copilot, document automation, or workflow automation tools is a plus.
