Leasing & Marketing Consultant – Lease-up Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Oversee the leasing, marketing, and renewal initiatives of the community to achieve occupancy, revenue, and resident retention objectives.

• Welcome and assess prospective residents, conduct tours of the community and apartments, follow up with leads, and assist prospects throughout the leasing journey.

• Handle rental applications, including necessary credit and background checks, and prepare lease and move-in documents.

• Ensure a seamless and inviting move-in process while keeping open lines of communication with new residents.

• Cultivate relationships with existing residents, deliver exceptional customer service, and aid in lease renewal and resident retention initiatives.

• Contribute to the creation and implementation of leasing and marketing strategies.

• Support resident referral programs, employer outreach, social media efforts, email marketing campaigns, CRM activities, and community events.

• Keep accurate records of prospects, residents, traffic, leasing activities, and apartment availability within the property management system.

• Inspect model apartments, leasing spaces, marketing corridors, and tour paths.

• Maintain follow-up with prospects and convert leads into leases while achieving leasing and occupancy targets.

• Successful completion of all necessary background checks.

• Pre-employment drug testing is mandatory.

• Excellent communication, follow-through, attention to detail, and relationship-building abilities.

• Enthusiastic, organized, customer-oriented, and sales-driven.

• Capability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic lease-up environment.

• Familiarity with the local market, competitor pricing, concessions, availability, and leasing dynamics.

• Experience using property management systems such as Yardi or other similar software.
