Learning Solutions Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and facilitate training sessions tailored for the Patient Support Program workforce, which includes Case Managers, Administrative Assistants, Supervisors, Program Managers, and related positions.

• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to gain a comprehensive understanding of Patient Support Program content and knowledge.

• Produce instructional materials, such as eLearning modules, presentations, user guides, job aids, and lesson plans.

• Utilize Work Instructions and SOPs to develop learner-friendly resources.

• Deliver educational programs through various formats, including eLearning, instructor-led sessions, virtual instructor-led training (VILT), and blended learning solutions.

• Enhance the Learning Management System (LMS) to host learning modules and create blended and self-guided learning experiences.

• Conduct training needs analysis to identify areas for improvement and knowledge gaps, subsequently creating appropriate learning solutions.

• Assess current and future educational programs using Level 1–3 evaluations.

• Review educational programs and materials with a focus on continuous improvement.

• Coordinate onboarding training alongside the Learning Solutions Coordinator, Quality Assurance, and Patient Support Program leaders.

• Offer feedback to managers regarding new hire performance.

• Assist in managing and developing content for the Learning & Development Page.

• Handle multiple competing priorities while meeting tight deadlines.

• Streamline training processes to enhance efficiency.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, Adult Education/Curriculum Development, or equivalent experience is preferred.

• Experience in Patient Support Programs with an understanding of private and public reimbursement structures, systems, and processes is considered advantageous.

• Familiarity with adult learning principles and training best practices.

• Advanced capability to learn and comprehend new content, systems, and processes.

• Exceptional presentation and facilitation skills.

• Knowledge and experience in various instructional design methodologies, with the ability to create robust training programs from the ground up.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and various learning authoring tools, such as Articulate 360 (Storyline, Rise, etc.), Canva, Camtasia, SnagIt, etc.

• Experience in creating SharePoint pages is considered an asset.

• Administrative experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is a plus.

• Experience in conducting training needs analysis and delivering effective learning solutions.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including proofreading/editing and quality assurance capabilities.

• Proven track record of successful collaboration with leaders and/or stakeholders in a cross-functional organization.

• Ability to remain agile and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

• Possess a growth mindset.

• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.

• Robust analytical skills.

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a knack for resolving issues effectively and efficiently.

• Strong ability to consistently meet deadlines and prioritize projects.

• Occasional travel may be necessary.

• Bilingual proficiency in French and English will be considered an asset.
