This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and develop learner-focused blended learning experiences, which encompass instructor-led training, e-learning, interactive scenarios, simulations, and multimedia resources.

• Center learning design around practical application, behavioral change, and quantifiable real-world outcomes.

• Investigate user needs, challenges being addressed, and the contexts for learning.

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of target behaviors and competencies during the design process.

• Employ SAM1 for smaller projects and SAM2 for more complex initiatives, utilizing iterative evaluate-design-develop cycles.

• Utilize Action Mapping to align learning design with business objectives and observable performance gaps.

• Contribute to leadership development simulations and scenario-based learning that incorporate branching narratives, scored decisions, and facilitator-supported formats.

• Harness AI tools for prompt engineering, content creation, quality assurance review, personalization, and innovative agentic workflows.

• Generate mobile-first, accessible, and responsive content, ensuring validation across various devices and assistive technologies.

• Implement and validate xAPI and SCORM packaging while supporting learning data collection efforts.

• Collaborate with subject matter experts, product managers, engineers, and senior designers throughout Design Proof, Alpha, Beta, and Gold review phases.

• Develop and maintain learning plans that document performance gaps, behavioral changes, objectives, measurement strategies, and the linkage between objectives and treatments.

• Engage in design sprints, pilot programs, user testing, and review sessions.

• Apply WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility and inclusive design principles throughout the design process.

• Stay updated on emerging technologies, EdTech trends, and current learning science research.

• Assist in documenting design standards, templates, and reusable patterns.

• Manage assigned projects according to defined requirements, timelines, and specifications, with support from senior team members.

• Report to the Director of Content Innovation and Leadership Development.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) or higher.

• 1–3 years of experience in designing digital or blended learning products across various delivery methods.

• Proficient in applying iterative instructional design methodologies, including SAM, design thinking, or agile/sprint-based design approaches.

• Experience in creating interactive learning content using rapid authoring tools such as Articulate 360, Rise, or similar platforms.

• Familiarity with AI tools for content development, review, or prototyping.

• Experience collaborating with subject matter experts, product teams, and stakeholders through structured review and feedback processes.

• Proven ability to produce mobile-responsive, accessible digital content.

• A portfolio that showcases completed learning modules, interactive scenarios, or simulation content.

• Understanding of xAPI, SCORM, LRS/LMS reporting, and learning measurement methodologies.

• Comfort in working within AI-enhanced workflows and using generative AI technologies.

• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Proficient in problem-solving, design thinking, and critical analysis.

• Demonstrated initiative, curiosity, and the ability to work independently while actively seeking feedback and coaching.

• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and deliver results under tight deadlines.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, e-learning authoring tools, and learning management systems.

• Preferred: experience in leadership behavior change, leadership development, or leadership consulting.

• Preferred: knowledge of SAM1/SAM2 or iterative prototype-driven design methodologies.

• Preferred: exposure to simulation design, branching scenarios, or gamified learning experiences.

• Preferred: experience with Replit, Miro, Xyleme, or other rapid prototyping and collaboration tools.

• Preferred: familiarity with xAPI statement design, learning analytics dashboards, or LRS configuration.

• Preferred: understanding of behavior change science, action mapping, or performance consulting frameworks.

• Preferred: experience in SaaS, product, or enterprise content environments.

• Preferred: relevant L&D certifications such as CPTD or ATD.
