This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
β’ Analyze Learning & Development strategies, training materials, and professional learning programs to gauge their quality and effectiveness.
β’ Evaluate the alignment of learning objectives, content, delivery methods, activities, and assessments.
β’ Identify deficiencies in program structure, instructional logic, learner experience, knowledge transfer, process clarity, and stakeholder engagement.
β’ Review recommendations pertaining to employee development, capability enhancement, talent growth, and professional advancement.
β’ Examine training programs, facilitator resources, learner materials, onboarding plans, new-hire documents, and orientation workflows.
β’ Assess training and onboarding content for clarity, structure, sequencing, instructional depth, practical application, and role integration.
β’ Review development plans, competency frameworks, and learning pathways.
β’ Evaluate spreadsheets and analyses that support training and L&D decisions, including calculations, assumptions, participation metrics, completion statistics, and program results.
β’ Review training documentation, onboarding materials, spreadsheets, reports, and slide presentations for accuracy, completeness, logical flow, learner engagement, and professional quality.
β’ Assess charts, tables, graphics, visual elements, learning objectives, and recommendations.
β’ Provide clear, structured written feedback detailing identified strengths and weaknesses.
β’ Consistently apply domain-specific evaluation standards across training and onboarding deliverables.
β’ Over 5 years of relevant professional experience in Learning & Development, employee training, onboarding, instructional design, talent development, or a closely related area.
β’ Background as a Learning & Development Specialist, L&D Specialist, Training Specialist, Instructional Designer, Talent Development Specialist, or a similar role.
β’ Strong practical knowledge of training, onboarding, and workplace learning.
β’ Experience in developing or reviewing training programs, onboarding materials, learning content, instructional resources, or related deliverables.
β’ Comprehensive understanding of learning objectives, instructional design, learner experience, and program effectiveness.
β’ Ability to evaluate training recommendations for clarity, relevance, and practicality.
β’ Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
β’ Advanced skills in PowerPoint / Google Slides.
β’ Strong spreadsheet and analytical capabilities.
β’ Native or professional fluency in English.
β’ Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to provide clear, structured feedback.
β’ Strong attention to detail in instructional, analytical, visual, and presentation aspects.
β’ H1-B and STEM OPT support is not available for this position.
β’ Part-time independent contractor opportunity.
