This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct research, write, and create content for professional development, which includes courses, scripts, presentations, newsletters, and training materials.
• Work collaboratively with instructional designers and production teams to transform written material into high-quality educational experiences.
• Implement best practices in adult learning and instructional design.
• Assist in the creation of multimedia learning resources, such as videos, activities, and assessments.
• Ensure consistency and quality across all learning experiences.
• Develop both live and asynchronous professional development resources for Stride leaders and educators.
• Coordinate with school leaders and cross-functional teams to assess and plan for professional development needs.
• Organize face-to-face and virtual professional development sessions for Stride schools.
• Collaborate with local, regional, and national teams concerning instruction, resources, interventions, and data-informed decision-making.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of national training programs and present findings to stakeholders.
• Update and modify existing courses based on feedback, data, and organizational requirements.
• Ensure that content adheres to instructional best practices and meets organizational standards.
• Stay updated on trends, research, and best practices in professional development, instructional design, and K–12 education.
• Contribute to the development and execution of the overall Talent Development roadmap and strategy.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
• 2–5 years of experience in education, professional development, instructional design, or a related discipline.
• Excellent writing and communication abilities, with a talent for converting complex concepts into clear, actionable content.
• Experience in creating professional learning materials, curriculum, or instructional resources for adult learners.
• Capability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
• Ability to pass a required background check.
• Experience in K–12 education or in professional development for educators.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional best practices.
• Experience working with instructional design or production teams.
• Basic knowledge of design tools such as Canva.
• Experience in providing or facilitating professional development, either virtually or in person.
