This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Facilitate exceptional professional learning experiences for educators and school leaders implementing Amplify STEM programs.
• Cultivate extensive knowledge of Amplify STEM offerings and professional learning initiatives.
• Provide remote and onsite professional development approximately two days a week for groups of 30–40 educators.
• Tailor facilitation techniques to meet the diverse needs of various school and district partners.
• Oversee session logistics and ensure timely completion of deliverables with accuracy.
• Engage in certification training along with ongoing observation, coaching, and feedback cycles.
• Mentor and guide a cohort of around 30–40 Professional Learning Specialists through observations, coaching dialogues, practical modeling, peer practice, and constructive feedback.
• Create and execute targeted development plans based on observational insights, customer input, survey results, and personal reflection.
• Analyze post-session survey results to identify patterns and deliver actionable recommendations.
• Share insights regarding individual and cohort performance with internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate in the recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of new Professional Learning Specialists.
• Convey customer experiences and product implementation feedback to Product and Program teams.
• Keep abreast of product updates, enhancements, and guidance for implementation.
• Contribute to knowledge-sharing, resource development, interdepartmental collaboration, and ongoing improvement efforts.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in PreK–12 education.
• At least 2 years of experience in coaching educators within PreK–12 environments.
• Strong understanding of adult learning theories and their effective application in professional development contexts.
• In-depth knowledge of STEM instructional best practices that align with grade-level standards.
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate engaging and impactful in-person and virtual professional development sessions.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Zoom, and Teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capacity to adjust to shifting priorities and customer requirements in real time.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, managing competing priorities effectively.
• Willingness and ability to travel, including overnight stays and transportation via car, plane, and/or public transportation.
• Availability to attend in-person onboarding or periodic employment-related events at Amplify’s headquarters in New York.
• Background check required upon selection.
• Ability to provide additional documentation, vaccination proof, or undergo fingerprinting if mandated by relevant laws or district policies.
• Preferred: Experience in coaching or training educators using Amplify programs.
• Preferred: Experience in supporting diverse student populations, including English learners, students with disabilities, and gifted learners.
