This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive learning and development strategy that aligns with organizational goals, business priorities, and workforce needs.
• Create scalable learning solutions that foster leadership effectiveness, employee growth, and organizational advancement.
• Establish learning frameworks, competency models, and developmental pathways.
• Collaborate with senior leaders and HR Business Partners to identify capability gaps and execute development solutions.
• Design, implement, and enhance leadership development programs tailored for emerging leaders, managers, directors, and executives.
• Create and facilitate workshops focused on communication, coaching, performance management, change leadership, resilience, and strategic thinking.
• Develop leadership assessment methodologies and provide coaching and developmental guidance.
• Oversee enterprise talent review processes and maintain succession planning for key leadership and technical roles.
• Evaluate organizational bench strength, identify high-potential talent, and formulate succession-readiness development plans.
• Administer and interpret leadership and behavioral assessments.
• Monitor learning effectiveness and developmental outcomes using KPIs and talent metrics.
• Manage and optimize learning technologies, platforms, and content libraries, including LinkedIn Learning.
• Create structured learning journeys, career pathways, and personalized learning recommendations.
• Support organizational transformation through change management and capability-building strategies.
• Facilitate sessions on team effectiveness, workshops, and strategic planning discussions.
• Manage relationships with external learning vendors, consultants, certifications, and leadership development partners.
• Handle program budgets and learning investments.
• Ensure the measurement and continuous improvement of learning programs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Report directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, Business Administration, Education, or a related field.
• A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, Talent Management, Organizational Development, or Human Resources.
• At least 5 years of experience leading enterprise-wide learning and leadership development initiatives.
• Proven track record in designing and implementing leadership assessment frameworks, talent review processes, and succession planning programs.
• Experience using LinkedIn Learning or similar learning management platforms to develop structured career pathways and personalized learning recommendations.
• Strong skills in facilitation, presentation, and executive communication.
• A passion for sustainability and a commitment to making a meaningful impact on the environment.
• Professional certifications in leadership or behavioral assessments such as MBTI, DISC, Hogan Assessments, CliftonStrengths, Korn Ferry Leadership Architect, or EQ-i Emotional Intelligence assessment.
• Certification in Organizational Development, Talent Management, HR, or Executive Coaching.
• Experience in developing leadership talent within consulting, professional services, energy, sustainability, engineering, technology, SaaS, or utility-related sectors.
• Industry experience in energy efficiency, clean energy, utilities, sustainability, engineering, environmental services, or related fields.
• Experience supporting a diverse workforce, including consultants, program delivery teams, engineers, project managers, technical specialists, and corporate functions.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence leaders across all levels.
• An analytical mindset with a proven ability to translate talent insights into strategic organizational actions.
• Demonstrated success in leading enterprise talent, culture, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
• Successful completion of a comprehensive background check and reference check.
