This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Provide targeted skill development and essential training to the licensed banker workforce.
• Enhance the confidence and capabilities of branch teams in alignment with the Mass Affluent Strategy.
• Collaborate with KIS ML, Market Retail Leaders, and Area Retail Leaders to address performance gaps.
• Support and champion the training and development of Key Private Client sales professionals during their initial year as Licensed Bankers.
• Implement a comprehensive one-year licensing onboarding plan.
• Guide a group of new PCBs throughout their first year and assist in their skill development to become successful Branch Bankers.
• Facilitate additional learning strategies across Affluent and Emerging Segments, focusing on business acumen, skill enhancement, and product education.
• Partner with Learning & Development to ensure alignment with HR functions and policies.
• Assist in the strategic and tactical management of the licensed banker program within designated markets.
• Support PCBs in developing conversation skills and conducting wealth analysis debriefs.
• Track KPI progress by territory and region, identify performance trends and developmental needs, and provide coaching recommendations.
• Act as a culture ambassador for KPC by sharing insights, best practices, and areas for improvement.
• Elevate and advocate for KPC best practices, opportunities, and challenges.
• Engage in talent acquisition for the Licensed Banker position, including initial interviews.
• Coordinate and facilitate market strategies to educate and enhance skills within the PCB population.
• Maintain collaborations with regional leadership and lead through influence.
• Deliver PCBU training for newly Licensed Bankers.
• Ensure collaboration and commitment from Retail and KIS leadership to foster PCB acumen and confidence.
• Perform additional duties as assigned and adhere to KeyBank policies and procedures.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent business experience (required).
• Over 5 years of experience in performance coaching (required).
• More than 5 years of experience in the financial services/investment industry, with knowledge of the retail banking environment and affluent client markets (required).
• Proven ability to build, develop, and effectively lead a team (required).
• Ability to work and influence successfully in a matrix environment and establish effective business partnerships at all team member levels (required).
• FINRA License S6 (preferred).
• FINRA License S63 (preferred).
• Proficient in face-to-face and telephone communication with clients.
• Capable of routinely operating a motor vehicle with a valid driver's license.
• Willingness to travel frequently, including overnight stays.
• Ability to exemplify Key's values and maintain proficiency in designated Leadership Competencies.
• Annual base salary range of $80,000.00–$150,000.00.
• Eligibility for incentive compensation, which may encompass production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
