This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Lead the comprehensive leadership development strategy and design as well as implement leadership development programs.
• Take ownership of the organization’s career development approach and integrate it into performance management, talent assessments, and succession planning.
• Create and maintain enterprise mentorship strategies, encompassing program design, technology platforms, communications, and evaluation metrics.
• Define the coaching strategy and supervise its implementation.
• Establish the overarching strategy for early career experiences and monitor outcomes such as retention, performance, and internal mobility.
• Collaborate with senior HR, Talent Acquisition, sector HR, business leaders, and the VP of Talent.
• Utilize data, insights, and feedback to enhance program effectiveness and business impact.
• Lead, manage, and nurture a high-performing talent development team.
• Cultivate relationships with HR, Talent, and other stakeholders across various sectors and functions.
• Oversee vendor partnerships and external collaborations.
• Uphold Northrop Grumman’s leadership development brand and narrative.
• Establish program governance, standards, and success metrics.
• Manage budgets, contracts, and resources.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, Psychology, or a related field with 12+ years of relevant experience OR a Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, Psychology, or a related field with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in leadership development, organizational development, talent management, learning and development, or related fields, with extensive experience leading enterprise or large-scale programs.
• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and measuring leadership development and/or career development programs within a complex, matrixed organization.
• Experience in leading teams and influencing senior leaders across various functions and/or business units.
• Demonstrated ability to use data and analytics to assess program effectiveness and inform strategic decisions.
• Excellent consulting, facilitation, communication, and executive presentation skills, with the ability to influence and achieve alignment at the senior leadership level.
• Experience in a global or highly regulated industry is preferred.
• A Master’s degree in Organizational Development, I/O Psychology, HR, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• Practical experience with enterprise mentoring, technology-enabled learning solutions, and coaching frameworks is preferred.
• Experience in designing and leading early career programs is preferred.
• Proven track record of collaborating with external providers to design and deliver leadership development programs is preferred.
• Demonstrated success in driving enterprise change and the adoption of new talent practices is preferred.
