Leader, Sales – Splunk SLED

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Propel growth and market enterprise software solutions to PBST Sector Agencies.

• Guide high-achieving sales teams.

• Achieve revenue goals consistently on a quarterly and yearly basis.

• Anticipate quarterly and annual revenue for the designated region.

• Manage sales initiatives within the allocated territory.

• Set clear expectations, offer guidance, and prioritize team activities.

• Ensure the team is accountable for building pipelines and executing sales cycles.

• Mentor sales teams to identify customer needs and cultivate advocates.

• Showcase use cases and illustrate the distinct value of Splunk products and services.

• Negotiate advantageous pricing and terms by emphasizing value and return on investment.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years' experience managing frontline software sales teams.

• Capacity to grow and advance alongside the company.

• Experience in second-line management.

• At least 3 years of proven team leadership experience in the Public Sector – SLED.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

• Reside in the Northwest Region of the US: Colorado, Washington, or Illinois.

• Willingness to travel regularly.

• Preferred: 7+ years of direct and/or channel sales experience with large enterprises or the Public Sector.

• Preferred: Experience adapting in rapidly evolving and dynamic environments.

• Preferred: Strong verbal and written communication, along with presentation skills.

• Preferred: Experience delivering presentations at the executive level.

• Preferred: Familiarity with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques.

• Knowledge of MEDDPICC and Challenger methodologies is advantageous.
