This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Achieve revenue targets and meet company revenue objectives on a quarterly and annual basis.
• Project quarterly and yearly revenue figures for the designated region.
• Oversee sales initiatives within the assigned territory.
• Establish expectations, provide guidance, prioritize tasks, and ensure team accountability.
• Develop a sales pipeline and manage each stage of the sales process.
• Mentor sales team members to identify customer needs and cultivate champions.
• Showcase use cases and illustrate the unique value of Splunk products and services.
• Negotiate advantageous pricing and terms by emphasizing value and return on investment.
• Enhance and optimize sales territories.
• Build and lead high-performing sales teams.
• 8+ years of direct and channel sales experience in enterprise software for large organizations.
• Experience in subscription, SaaS, or Cloud software with enterprise accounts.
• Strong leadership and influencing capabilities.
• Ability to forge robust business partnerships both internally and externally.
• Proficient in business planning and tracking as well as communicating progress.
• Skilled in identifying obstacles and devising suitable solutions.
• Capacity to thrive in fast-paced and evolving environments.
• Preferred 5+ years of experience in building and leading front-line sales teams.
• Experience in second-line management is advantageous.
• Proven history of meeting or surpassing sales quotas is preferred.
• Familiarity with software related to IT systems, enterprise or infrastructure management, application development and management, DevOps, security, business applications, and/or analytics is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills are preferred.
• Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques is preferred.
• Knowledge of MEDDPICC and Challenger methodologies is a plus.
