This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +1 more country.
• Lead the development of solutions and provide presales support for intricate, strategic opportunities within Pearson.
• Collaborate with Sales, Proposal/Bid Management, Product, Finance, Legal, Technology, Operations, and Delivery teams to convert RFP requirements into viable customer solutions.
• Serve as a technical and commercial hub throughout the bid lifecycle, coordinating contributions from specialists across functional areas and ensuring appropriate stakeholder engagement.
• Assist in the creation of approved cost models, effort estimates, and investment assumptions to evaluate operating income and commercial feasibility.
• Ensure that proposed solutions are compliant, practical, scalable, and aligned with customer needs, Pearson's capabilities, and internal governance standards.
• Identify risks, gaps, dependencies, and ambiguities in customer requirements, collaborating with stakeholders to address these issues prior to submission.
• Promote consistency, process discipline, and best practices in solution development and bid support activities.
• Leverage data, reporting, and insights to enhance efficiency, capacity planning, visibility, and overall team performance.
• Assist in the development and upkeep of sales enablement resources, documentation, tools, and process materials.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the effectiveness and scalability of the Global Business Solutions team.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English, with excellent communication skills and the capability to convey complex information clearly to varied audiences.
• Demonstrated experience in presales, bid management, solution consulting, or a comparable commercial support role for complex customer opportunities.
• Comprehensive understanding of sales processes, customer engagement, and the cycles of proposal or RFP responses.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify scope, identify solution gaps, influence decisions, and build strong relationships within a matrixed, globally distributed organization.
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, capable of managing ambiguity, competing priorities, documentation requirements, and governance protocols.
• Strong customer orientation, commercial insight, and familiarity with global business practices and multicultural settings.
• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote setup while coordinating with teams across various countries and time zones.
• Candidates must reside in either Colombia or Mexico.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or a related field.
