Lead Sourcing Specialist – Commodity Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Arab Emirates (UAE).

📋 Description

• Establish the supplier strategy, focusing on the management and optimization of supplier panels.

• Oversee negotiations and assign specific needs to designated suppliers.

• Negotiate terms and conditions while relaying information to the Procurement team.

• Handle claims management.

• Conduct commercial sourcing management, which includes data analysis and negotiation assistance.

• Execute purchasing activities as required.

• Implement functional policies and strategies utilizing expertise in the discipline.

• Engage with colleagues and the business regarding design and coordination services.

• Offer informal guidance to new team members.

• Simplify complex information for others in straightforward scenarios.

• Influence projects, processes, and procedures within the domain.

• Leverage technical expertise, judgment, analytical thinking, and various internal resources to address issues and make informed decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering, and/or a Master's degree in Business Administration.

• At least 5 years of extensive experience in Sourcing & Commodity Management.

• Proficiency in English and Arabic.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Proven capability to analyze and resolve issues effectively.

• Competence in documenting, planning, marketing, and executing programs.

• Strong project management skills established.
