Lead Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate client discovery sessions and gather requirements to identify business goals, data sources, and success metrics for analytics projects.

• Create comprehensive solution architectures that encompass data ingestion, modeling, warehousing, transformation, and reporting/visualization layers.

• Develop architecture diagrams, technical design documentation, and solution roadmaps tailored for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Act as the primary technical liaison for client stakeholders throughout the entire engagement process.

• Oversee and mentor data engineers, analysts, and BI developers to ensure adherence to the designed solutions and quality benchmarks.

• Contribute to the development of reusable frameworks, accelerators, and architectural standards to enhance delivery efficiency and consistency.

• Assist in pre-sales activities, including solution scoping, effort estimation, and responses to proposals or RFPs.

• Directly manage a team, overseeing staffing, balancing workloads, and daily performance evaluations.

• Provide mentorship to the team on architectural best practices and standards for client delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in English.

• 5–7+ years of experience in designing and delivering comprehensive data and analytics solutions, from source systems to reporting and consumption layers.

• Practical experience with at least one major cloud data platform (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Capability to assess and recommend additional tools and systems.

• Strong proficiency in SQL.

• Familiarity with data modeling techniques (dimensional modeling, data vault, or similar).

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

• Willingness to travel to client locations as needed for engagements.
