This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Assist in the validation testing solutions for server hardware manufacturing facilities.
• Participate in the complete architecture, definition, development, and deployment of software applications and infrastructure for various customers and manufacturing regions.
• Collaborate with internal engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams, as well as end customers.
• Design and create test systems and procedures for hardware validation during the manufacturing process.
• Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts for motherboards, memory, CPUs, storage devices, and PCIe components.
• Create, validate, release, and maintain test software and scripts for automated testing.
• Develop software for managing test equipment, data collection and analysis, and generating test reports.
• Provide support and maintenance for manufacturing server (L10) and rack (L11-L12) test software and infrastructure.
• Implement minor system configuration modifications for new product variants or revisions.
• Keep thorough documentation of test procedures, specifications, and infrastructure.
• Work together with hardware engineers, manufacturing engineers, and quality assurance personnel to ensure testing requirements and quality standards are met.
• A BS degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred; relevant experience will also be considered.
• A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in a software role related to manufacturing test development/sustaining within enterprise server, storage, or networking products is required.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, and BASH; experience with C and C++ is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of Linux fundamentals, including CentOS and Ubuntu.
• Familiarity with IPMI, Redfish, mprime, FIO, Linpack, ptugen, memtester, and iperf.
• Experience with server hardware interaction, validation, and configuration.
• Background in creating and configuring VMs using VMWare, including DHCP, PXE boot, and nginx.
• Knowledge of enterprise Ethernet datacenter switching/routing at L1, L2, and L3 levels, including BGP, DHCP Relay, and ECMP.
• Experience with code versioning tools; Git is preferred.
• Strong understanding of software engineering practices throughout the full software development life cycle.
• Experience in multi-site and multi-cultural environments.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 10% of the time.
• A Master’s Degree in EE/CE or Computer Science is preferred.
• Over 10 years of experience in the electronics manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with test architecture design and methodology is preferred.
• Experience working with hyperscale customers and environments is preferred.
• Knowledge in at least 5 of the core skills mentioned above is preferred.
