Lead Software Engineer – Performance Marketing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Lead and mentor a small team of developers and strategists focused on playable ads, integrated within franchise-specific squads.

• Remain actively involved in the production of playable ads, contributing to the creation and refinement of high-quality playable creatives.

• Manage workflows, tools, and best practices for the playable team.

• Foster innovation in playable ad formats, mechanics, interactions, and creative ideas.

• Collaborate with the Growth Manager and creative strategists to align on priorities and objectives at the franchise level.

• Analyze competitor playable ads and assess performance metrics.

• Offer technical and strategic advice on development and marketing effectiveness.

• Assist in the deployment of playable ads across various game franchises, tailoring formats to fit each title's creative strategy.

• Contribute to the vision, standards, and processes of the playable ads chapter.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in playable ad or game development.

• A hands-on, maker mentality; adept at contributing to production while managing coordination.

• Familiarity with playable ads development tools or frameworks, such as Unity (Luna), Cocos Creator, or other relevant platforms.

• Knowledge of object-oriented programming and web game development.

• Practical experience with AI-assisted development tools: Claude Code, Codex, Cursor.

• Experience with asset generation tools: Scenario, Flux, ElevenLabs.

• Strong understanding of mobile marketing performance metrics and creative testing.

• Demonstrated ability to mentor and coach colleagues.

• An entrepreneurial mindset with the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Exceptional teamwork and collaboration skills.

• Proficiency in English; knowledge of French is an asset.
