This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
β’ Lead the technical direction for the ecommerce editor, encompassing AI generation, layout suggestions, content assistance, and personalization.
β’ Take ownership of the Editor 2.0 team's sprint output, ensuring unblocking, code review quality, and critical-path implementation.
β’ Plan sprints, decompose tasks, and prioritize workloads effectively.
β’ Resolve technical blockers for engineers, clarify ambiguous requirements, and manage cross-team dependencies.
β’ Make informed technical decisions and uphold code review standards.
β’ Act as the main escalation point for production incidents and oversee the health of the editor in production.
β’ Onboard and mentor team members, including training on AI tool usage.
β’ Propose and develop AI-powered product features for visual page and funnel construction.
β’ Assess AI features based on real workflows and their impact on conversions.
β’ Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
β’ Identify edge cases and potential risks during the planning phase.
β’ Utilize AI coding tools on a daily basis and establish efficient AI-assisted development workflows.
β’ Collaborate closely with the product manager on roadmap planning and feature definition.
β’ Deliver significant features to production and evaluate their conversion impact.
β’ Minimum of 6 years of professional software engineering experience.
β’ At least 1 to 2 years in a lead or de facto lead role.
β’ Responsible for the technical direction of a team, rather than solely performing senior individual-contributor tasks.
β’ Practical experience in PHY.
β’ Proven experience in building consumer-facing web products at scale.
β’ Strong preference for candidates with experience in page builders, website/funnel editors, or similarly complex WYSIWYG/visual editing tools.
β’ A demonstrated history of successfully shipping AI-powered product features.
β’ Experience collaborating directly with a product manager on roadmap and feature definition.
β’ Comfortable serving as the primary escalation point for production-related issues.
β’ Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
β’ Experience with PHP versions 7.4/8+ and Laravel.
β’ Familiarity with MariaDB, Redis, AWS (EC2, RDS, CloudWatch, SQS, S3), Docker, and GitHub Actions CI/CD.
