This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Act as the business owner for Sales technology.
• Ensure that systems facilitate field workflows, align with business priorities, and enable effective Sales execution.
• Oversee system priorities and convert business needs into actionable requirements.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Assess system adoption and evaluate business impact.
• Analyze performance metrics across regional, market, territory, district, and dealer levels.
• Identify emerging trends, risks, gaps, and potential growth opportunities.
• Synthesize Sales, field leadership, and executive inquiries into analyses and actionable recommendations.
• Review contract production, dealer activities, market opportunities, productivity, and profitability.
• Conduct ongoing and ad hoc analyses to address regional priorities, sales initiatives, and performance enhancement.
• Create and maintain Power BI dashboards, scorecards, recurring Sales performance reports, and executive summaries.
• Track KPIs and provide regional leaders with timely, accurate, and actionable insights.
• Assist in business reviews, performance evaluations, forecasting, and strategic planning.
• Streamline reporting processes, enhance usability, and boost user adoption.
• Validate dashboard accuracy by reconciling report outputs with source data, existing reports, and KPI definitions.
• Detect data, reporting, and process issues and collaborate with teams to resolve them.
• Document business logic, calculations, assumptions, data sources, and reporting requirements.
• Contribute to the enhancement of reporting tools and recurring analytical processes.
• Act as an analytics partner for regional Sales leaders and stakeholders.
• Present insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Sales Enablement, Business Intelligence, Engineering, Product, GTM, and other departments.
• Provide proactive insights and recommendations to support Sales performance and informed decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, processes, and legal standards.
• Perform other assigned tasks and adhere to department attendance requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Sales Analytics, Business Intelligence, Finance, Sales Operations, or a closely related analytical area.
• At least 2 years of experience in an academic or professional environment utilizing SAS, SQL, R, or Python.
• Experience in developing or maintaining dashboards, KPI reporting, scorecards, or recurring business performance reports.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and data storytelling capabilities.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence, reporting, CRM, SQL, or analytical tools.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and convert data into actionable insights.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% based on business requirements.
• Required degrees must be obtained from accredited institutions of higher education.
• Must not require current or future sponsorship to legally work for Credit Acceptance; H-1B, H-4, and F-1 OPT visa holders are not eligible.
• Preferred: Experience in supporting a regional, distributed, or field-based Sales organization.
• Preferred: Background in profitability, market, territory, dealer, productivity, or Sales performance analysis.
• Preferred: Knowledge of automotive finance, dealer services, indirect lending, or financial services.
• Preferred: Experience with Power BI data modeling, DAX, Power Query, data visualization, or business intelligence platforms.
