This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead, coach, and nurture a high-achieving team of Sales Engineers.
• Establish benchmarks for technical excellence, customer engagement, and commercial outcomes.
• Create uniform methods for discovery, architecture evaluations, PoC qualification, and production readiness.
• Distribute Sales Engineering resources across key opportunities.
• Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and organizational growth.
• Act as a senior technical consultant on strategic and intricate customer opportunities.
• Conduct technical discovery alongside engineering teams, technical founders, and customer executives.
• Convert customer requirements into production-capable architectures.
• Recognize technical, operational, and financial risks.
• Collaborate with Sales leadership on strategic deals, account planning, and technical assessment.
• Oversee technical qualification, escalation processes, customer commitments, and deal strategies.
• Enhance the conversion rate from PoC to production.
• Define standards and measurable success criteria for customer PoCs, encompassing latency, TTFT, throughput, reliability, and cost.
• Coordinate resources among Sales Engineering, ML Solution Architecture, Product, Engineering, and GPU capacity.
• Facilitate structured Go / No-Go decisions and avoid uncontrolled customization.
• Identify recurring workloads, configuration needs, and architectural patterns.
• Measure demand for quantization, speculative decoding, and other inference methodologies.
• Present customer insights to Product and Engineering leadership.
• Influence platform priorities utilizing workload data and commercial prospects.
• Act as a liaison between Sales, Sales Engineering, Product, and Engineering.
• Enhance communication regarding technical decisions, risks, and dependencies.
• Assist leadership in balancing revenue potential, customer impact, and engineering investments.
• Profound knowledge of AI inference systems and GPU-based infrastructure.
• Extensive experience with LLM workloads and performance-critical environments.
• Familiarity with inference frameworks and libraries such as vLLM, SGLang, and TensorRT-LLM.
• Strong ability to analyze latency, throughput, GPU utilization, costs, and architectural compromises.
• Experience in leading, mentoring, or managing Sales Engineers, Solution Architects, or similar customer-oriented technical teams.
• Proven success in supporting intricate enterprise or developer-focused technical sales processes.
• Strong presence with engineering-driven organizations.
• Ability to engage credibly with technical founders, engineering leaders, and senior customer stakeholders.
• Keen judgment on when to standardize, when to customize, and when to decline requests.
• Comfort in challenging assumptions and constructively pushing back with both clients and internal stakeholders.
• Commercial awareness—recognizing that engineering time and GPU capacity are strategic assets.
• Capability to navigate between detailed technical discussions, deal strategies, team leadership, and executive communications.
• Experience in establishing repeatable processes and technical standards in a rapidly growing organization.
