This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Acquire in-depth knowledge of Amplify Literacy programs and the related professional development offerings.
• Provide remote and onsite professional development for approximately two days weekly to groups comprising 30–40 educators.
• Tailor facilitation to meet the specific needs and contexts of clients.
• Ensure timely tracking and completion of session logistics and deliverables.
• Engage in certification training and continuous professional development, which includes observation, feedback, and coaching.
• Mentor a cohort of around 20 Professional Learning Specialists through observation and debrief cycles, modeling, peer practice, and both written and live feedback.
• Create and execute targeted development plans based on observations, customer feedback, survey data, and self-reflection.
• Assist in the recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding processes for new Professional Learning Specialists.
• Analyze post-session survey data daily during peak seasons to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
• Share insights about individual and cohort performance, needs, and challenges with relevant stakeholders.
• Communicate observations regarding customer engagement with Amplify products to product teams.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Over 2 years of teaching experience from Pre-K to Grade 12.
• More than 2 years of experience in coaching educators within Pre-K to Grade 12 environments.
• Strong grasp of adult learning principles and experience applying them in professional development settings.
• Extensive knowledge of instructional best practices in literacy that align with rigorous grade-level standards in English.
• Proven ability to facilitate both onsite and virtual professional development sessions.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Capability to navigate ambiguity and respond adequately to customer needs in real-time.
• Excellent time management skills across various priorities.
• Willingness to travel approximately 60% or more during May–September and 20–40% during the school year, including overnight travel and transportation by car, plane, and/or public transport.
• Availability to attend in-person onboarding or periodic employment-related events at Amplify headquarters in New York.
• If not already certified, a readiness to engage in paid certification training to become a certified Professional Learning Specialist.
• Preferred: Over 2 years of experience coaching or training educators using an Amplify program.
• Preferred: Experience working with diverse student populations, including English learners, SPED, and Gifted/Talented students.
