This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Design, create, and enhance instructional materials for Field Services, encompassing onboarding curricula, technical/procedural training, and soft skill modules.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, Field Services leadership, and Operations to pinpoint training requirements, collect content, and confirm technical and process information.
• Utilize adult learning theories and instructional design models such as ADDIE and SAM.
• Develop training for various formats, including instructor-led, virtual instructor-led, self-paced eLearning, video, and blended learning programs.
• Construct and manage content within the Learning Management System and SharePoint platforms.
• Design assessments, knowledge checks, and evaluation instruments.
• Assist with new hire onboarding and continuous skill training for field personnel.
• Work in conjunction with Quality, Compliance, and Operations to ensure alignment of content with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Collect and analyze learner feedback and performance data to enhance training effectiveness.
• Maintain version control and uphold documentation standards.
• Stay updated on trends, tools, and technologies in instructional design, and propose enhancements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communications, Organizational Development, or a related field; or a comparable combination of education and experience (typically 4+ years of relevant instructional design/training experience in lieu of a degree).
• Over 5 years of experience in instructional design, training development, or a similar learning and development role.
• At least 4 years of experience in project management of learning programs.
• Proven experience utilizing instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) and adult learning theories.
• Expertise in eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Synthesia, Scribe, or comparable tools).
• Experience in creating training for a field-based, technical, or service-oriented workforce is preferred.
• Familiarity with video production/editing tools and multimedia development is preferred.
• Experience with performance support tools, microlearning, or mobile learning design is preferred.
• Background in creating graphics for training solutions and communication purposes is preferred.
• Certification in instructional design or learning and development (e.g., CPTD, ATD certification) is a plus.
• Knowledge in instructional design and curriculum development.
• Understanding of adult learning theory and strategies for learner engagement.
• Skills in technical writing and content simplification.
• Proficiency in project and stakeholder management.
• Ability to make data-informed decisions and evaluate training effectiveness.
• Flexibility and comfort in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
