Lead Product Manager – Procurement, Docusign

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Legal and IT to develop and implement the multi-year product roadmap and strategic vision for Legal Technology platforms.

• Create shared prioritization frameworks and OKRs for multiple concurrent workstreams.

• Oversee the technical delivery and implementation of CLM, ServiceNow Legal Service Delivery, Legal Tracker, and DocuSign systems.

• Define the enterprise integration strategy that connects legal systems with Salesforce, ServiceNow, and eSignature tools.

• Formulate the long-term Legal Technology strategy, including decisions on build-vs-buy and vendor rationalization.

• Establish strategy and governance for AI-driven application development utilizing Anthropic Claude and OpenAI APIs.

• Expand AI use cases from proof-of-concept to production, covering contract review, document extraction, entity screening, and matter classification.

• Create AI evaluation frameworks, set quality thresholds, and implement responsible-use guidelines.

• Prioritize automation opportunities and represent AI initiatives to executive and compliance stakeholders.

• Lead and mentor Technical Analysts and staff augmentation partners.

• Guide team members, conduct performance evaluations, and assist with hiring and onboarding processes.

• Manage vendor relationships and oversee contract performance.

• Act as a senior liaison between Legal and Corporate Systems leadership.

• Handle executive status reporting, business cases, staffing proposals, and leadership presentations.

• Promote cross-functional alignment among Legal Operations, Compliance, and IT.

• Manage platform governance, access control, and audit readiness.

• Establish and track Level 2/3 support SLAs and lead root-cause analysis for resolutions.

• Identify and advocate for process and automation enhancements that minimize manual efforts or improve data quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience.

• At least 6 years of experience in technical product management, systems implementation, or platform ownership within a corporate legal, compliance, or enterprise technology environment.

• Minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.

• Proven experience managing a multi-platform product roadmap encompassing legal technology, including Legal Tracker, Mitratech, Wolters Kluwer, or similar matter management/eBilling systems.

• Experience in directing CLM implementations, such as Ironclad, Conga, Icertis, or ContractPodAi.

• Familiarity with managing ServiceNow-based delivery, particularly the Legal Service Delivery module, including intake configuration, matter routing, and workflow automation.

• Extensive experience in directing AI-driven application development using Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, or similar technologies, including governance and evaluation of production AI systems.

• Strong knowledge of SQL and at least one scripting language; Python or JavaScript is preferred.

• Familiarity with eSignature platforms, preferably DocuSign, and Salesforce.

• Experience leading teams that include staff augmentation or consulting partners.

• Possess systems thinking at a portfolio level.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills suited for executive-level interactions.

• A collaborative, low-ego leadership approach.

• Comfortable with ambiguity and adapting to change.

• Experience working within Agile or hybrid delivery models.

• Proficient in GitHub or equivalent portfolio and project management tools.

• Capable of operating computer equipment, and able to speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and carry up to 25 lbs.

• Finger dexterity is essential.
