This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Feed Mill Manager and Pennent Mill Manager.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Services, Support, and Commercial teams to align on priorities that enhance retention, cross-selling, upselling, and expansion into new markets.
• Manage product-level Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), net revenue retention, and win rates.
• Develop pricing and packaging strategies, including tier design and customer migration plans, and present them to the Datacor Pricing Committee.
• Translate vague business objectives into solvable problems, options, and actionable plans; make trade-offs at the product level and influence resource allocation.
• Conduct competitive research and win/loss analyses, converting insights into adjustments for the roadmap and positioning.
• Lead the product advisory group and represent Datacor Animal Nutrition at industry events.
• Establish success criteria, test concepts with customers using AI-generated prototypes, and discontinue work that does not meet set standards.
• Oversee AI-enabled product features, including quality benchmarks, failure modes, customer trust, and AI-assisted discovery workflows.
• Prioritize the backlog in alignment with the roadmap, define use cases, requirements, and measurable outcomes, and escalate any risks or obstacles.
• Manage tiered launches with readiness checkpoints and success criteria.
• Facilitate enablement for Sales, Services, and Support, collaborating with Product Marketing on analyst briefings, webinars, and user conference sessions.
• Mediate competing priorities, uphold product decisions, mentor junior Product Managers, and manage product interview processes.
• Significant experience in agribusiness, feed manufacturing, or commodity trading.
• Familiarity with at least two of the following areas: commodity merchandising, ingredient procurement, feed plant operations, or livestock feed regulatory standards.
• Proven track record of owning a B2B software product’s roadmap and achieving business outcomes.
• Demonstrated impact of pricing, packaging, win/loss analysis, or business case work on decision-making.
• Capability to identify core customer challenges and validate solutions before allocating engineering resources.
• Proficiency in articulating problems, options, trade-offs, and recommendations in writing, and presenting credibly to executives, engineers, and customers.
• Daily utilization of AI for research, drafting, analysis, and prototyping, with discernment about when outputs require validation.
• Comfort in discussing data models, integrations, and product specifics with development teams.
• Ability to achieve results through teams that are not directly under your supervision.
• Willingness to travel to meet customers and participate in events.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Preferred: experience with feed and/or ration formulation software, knowledge of nutrition or feed labeling regulations, software development, or managing AI or data-driven capabilities.
