This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.
• Take ownership and develop YouGov's behavioral data portfolio.
• Manage the complete product lifecycle, from discovery and validation to launch, optimization, and retirement.
• Identify and assess new partnerships and opportunities in behavioral data.
• Establish product requirements, success metrics, and go-to-market strategies for new initiatives.
• Track product performance and KPIs utilizing customer, product, and commercial data.
• Collaborate with commercial teams on product packaging, positioning, and market adoption.
• Create and uphold the product roadmap with well-defined deliverables and measurable results.
• Develop business cases and recommendations for investment and prioritization decisions.
• Recognize emerging sources of behavioral data, market trends, and customer demands.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for YouGov's behavioral data offerings.
• Build relationships across product, engineering, data science, research, marketing, and commercial teams.
• Lead cross-functional project delivery while balancing customer needs with business priorities and technical limitations.
• Effectively communicate product strategy, priorities, risks, and trade-offs to stakeholders at all levels.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to define the future direction of the behavioral data portfolio.
• Collect and synthesize insights from customers, markets, and competitors.
• Stay informed about behavioral data, market research, consumer insights, privacy regulations, and emerging technologies.
• Ensure that customer needs remain at the forefront of product decisions and roadmap priorities.
• Extensive product management experience in data, analytics, SaaS, or technology-driven environments.
• Familiarity with behavioral, digital, or consumer data products and their commercial uses.
• Experience collaborating with engineering and data science teams to create scalable product solutions.
• Strong analytical abilities with experience leveraging product, customer, and commercial data for decision-making.
• Understanding of data privacy and governance issues pertinent to data products.
• Background in market research, consumer insights, media measurement, adtech, or similar sectors is a plus.
• Strategic mindset with commercial awareness and a focus on execution.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, including experience working with senior executives.
• Outstanding communication abilities, capable of simplifying complex ideas for varied audiences.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced settings and handling ambiguity.
• Collaborative, customer-centric, and results-oriented.
• 7-10+ years of experience in product management, including several years in a senior or lead role within data products, analytics platforms, or technology firms.
• Proven history of delivering product roadmaps from conception through launch and ongoing optimization.
• Experience collaborating with global, cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Familiarity with behavioral data, market research, consumer insights, media measurement, adtech, or similar data environments is advantageous.
• Degree-level education in Social Science, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Recognized as a subject matter expert internally, with a history of providing thought leadership that has influenced product direction.
