This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Articulate and convey the product vision, strategy, roadmaps, and modernization priorities for enterprise pharmacy capabilities and platform services.
• Convert strategic goals, customer requirements, and operational issues into prioritized capabilities and product investments.
• Develop value hypotheses, business outcomes, success metrics, and KPIs.
• Oversee, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog.
• Define and refine epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams.
• Balance platform investments, regulatory obligations, operational commitments, and business priorities.
• Ensure that solutions comply with Humana's technology standards, quality expectations, and customer needs.
• Direct product strategy and execution for modernized pharmacy capabilities and shared platform services.
• Promote workflow transformation, automation, and process simplification.
• Enhance reusable, API-first, event-driven, and cloud-enabled capabilities.
• Lead the retirement and modernization of legacy systems.
• Foster alignment across business, operations, technology, architecture, engineering, and vendor organizations.
• Conduct product reviews, roadmap planning, backlog prioritization, and capability planning.
• Manage dependencies across teams and resolve competing priorities.
• Influence decisions through data-informed recommendations and product expertise.
• Define, track, and report KPIs related to efficiency, reliability, cycle time, automation, platform adoption, and customer experience.
• Measure and communicate value realization through productivity, resiliency, workflow simplification, and outcomes of legacy modernization.
• Drive continuous improvement and scale successful platform capabilities throughout the pharmacy ecosystem.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a similar field.
• Over 8 years of product management experience in complex enterprise technology settings.
• At least 2 years of product leadership experience guiding cross-functional teams and driving strategic product initiatives.
• Significant experience in product management within intricate enterprise technology environments.
• Proven experience in leading large-scale modernization, platform, or digital transformation initiatives.
• Experience working with Agile product delivery teams and managing complex product backlogs.
• Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across business, operational, architecture, engineering, and vendor organizations.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making capabilities focused on measurable business outcomes.
• Preferred knowledge of healthcare, pharmacy operations, or regulated industries.
• Experience in defining product strategy, creating roadmaps, managing product backlogs, and spearheading modernization initiatives.
• Understanding of healthcare, pharmacy, customer service, fulfillment, operational processing, or related business functions.
• Experience in translating business and operational needs into scalable technology solutions.
• Proven ability to gather and convert business requirements into capabilities, features, user stories, and measurable business outcomes.
• Expertise in business capability modeling, process design, workflow optimization, and operational transformation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities using data analysis and data models in high-volume, transaction-oriented, and compliance-driven environments.
• Familiarity with APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures, workflow orchestration, and cloud-native platforms.
• Practical experience in Agile delivery environments, including product backlog management, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to align stakeholders from business, operations, engineering, architecture, security, and vendor domains.
• Experience in steering cross-functional teams through ambiguity, managing dependencies, resolving competing priorities, and driving execution.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, negotiation, and executive presentation skills.
• Capability to exercise independent judgment and make strategic decisions with minimal oversight.
• Home internet connection with a minimum of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds.
