Lead Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the roadmap related to payments, identity, and marketing technology.

• Oversee payment funnel metrics such as authorization rates, failure taxonomy, transaction costs, fraud loss, chargebacks, and conversion friction.

• Transition customers from partner login to a company-controlled identity.

• Support vertical squads through contracts, documentation, self-service, and measured adoption.

• Coordinate efforts among engineering, security, fraud, finance, compliance, and marketing teams.

• Conduct hypothesis-driven experimentation using minimum detectable effects, decision rules, and post-launch ship-or-kill assessments.

• Incorporate PCI scope, personal data management, and consent into product designs.

• Lead a team of 3 to 6 product managers and enhance their written communication.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years in product management, with at least 2 years leading PMs or being the senior product voice for a platform domain.

• Experience in delivering payments in production, including provider integration, orchestration or routing, authentication flows, settlement, chargebacks, or fraud controls, managing the process end to end.

• In-depth knowledge of identity or marketing technology, along with credible reasoning in both areas.

• Proven track record of consolidating duplicated capabilities and establishing standards that other teams have adopted.

• Technical fluency to engage in architecture reviews, interpret API contracts, and comprehend idempotency and webhook retries.

• Proficient in SQL and capable of defining metrics prior to feature implementation.

• Ability to influence others without formal authority.

• Experience with AI-assisted work processes without delivering unexplained outputs.

• Preferred: experience in payments within Iraq, MENA, or other emerging markets, including local payment rails, cash-heavy behaviors, telecom billing, wallet, and agent networks.

• Preferred: experience in decoupling a product from a dominant partner's authentication or distribution systems.

• Preferred: experience in platform work that serves multiple business units with distinct P&Ls.

• Preferred: proficiency in Arabic.
