• Enhance script-first editing, recording, writing tools, and AI regeneration functionalities.

• Infuse Descript’s appreciation for exceptional video into user interactions and system defaults.

• Broaden editing capabilities by integrating cutting-edge AI technology in collaboration with the AI Research team.

• Roll out features such as video regeneration and automatic speaker identification.

• Oversee recording, script generation, and translation processes to facilitate comprehensive video workflows.

• Guarantee that Descript scales effectively for larger teams and intricate workflows.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in product management.

• Proven track record in delivering creative tools or workflow products.

• Experience in designing seamless user experiences for complex, end-to-end workflows.

• Background in conducting customer discovery and identifying features that address genuine challenges.

• Systems-oriented product mindset.

• Capability to navigate ambiguous challenges and convert concepts into actionable plans.
