This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee engineering execution for Platform Engineering & Developer Experience projects within the IT Factory platform ecosystem.
• Convert architectural guidance and platform capability objectives into unified engineering implementation.
• Offer technical leadership across software engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, SRE, quality engineering, security, IAM, and similar fields.
• Recognize technical limitations and dependencies, eliminate engineering obstacles, enhance implementation sequencing, and boost execution visibility.
• Engage actively in engineering design, implementation guidance, troubleshooting, technical mentoring, and execution support.
• Collaborate with Domain, Platform, and Enterprise Architecture along with Platform Engineering leadership to realize architectural guidance.
• Provide insights into execution risks, implementation constraints, technical dependencies, and sequencing impacts.
• Promote reusable platform capabilities through standardized engineering practices and architecture-compliant implementation patterns.
• Mentor and guide engineers through intricate implementation scenarios.
• Contribute to platform capabilities, engineering workflows, automation, implementation patterns, and engineering methodologies.
• Aid in operational readiness, implementation stability, production validation, and resolution of technical issues.
• Act as Technical Delivery Lead for assigned Platform Engineering projects.
• Perform additional duties as required.
• A Bachelor's degree related to the position or an equivalent qualification is preferred, though not mandatory.
• A minimum of 10 years' experience in software engineering, platform engineering, infrastructure engineering, DevOps, SRE, or related technical fields supporting enterprise software delivery.
• At least 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in technical lead roles within engineering delivery environments.
• Extensive technical knowledge across software engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, CI/CD, cloud platforms, observability, quality engineering, SRE, and contemporary software delivery practices.
• Proven experience in providing execution-focused technical leadership across various engineering disciplines without direct organizational authority.
• Ability to interpret architectural direction, platform capability objectives, and implementation sequencing into synchronized engineering execution.
• Background in leading complex engineering implementations through technical leadership, engineering influence, and execution discipline rather than personnel management.
• Strong systems-thinking ability to pinpoint technical constraints, implementation risks, dependency relationships, and execution trade-offs.
• Capacity to enhance execution effectiveness, implementation consistency, and engineering predictability across complex technical initiatives.
• Hands-on technical leadership experience in engineering design, implementation guidance, troubleshooting, technical mentoring, and execution support.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across architecture, engineering, platform, operational, security, and delivery teams.
• Experience in regulated or highly governed enterprise settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with internal developer platforms, Golden Paths, reusable engineering capabilities, or platform-as-a-product models is preferred.
• Experience as a Technical Delivery Lead or equivalent is preferred.
• Knowledge of Azure, .NET, infrastructure automation, observability platforms, and modern CI/CD ecosystems is preferred.
• Experience in coordinating dependencies across DevOps, SRE, quality engineering, Security, IAM, and other enterprise technology functions is preferred.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, Wiki, collaborative cloud-based programs, and third-party software applications is required.
