This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Develop and take ownership of the comprehensive paid search strategy for your portfolio of accounts, ensuring exceptional activation across search platforms (Google, Microsoft, Yahoo!) and various tactics (Brand, Non-brand, Shopping, PMAX, Demand Gen, Competitor).
• Perform keyword research, create ad copy, execute optimizations, and establish bidding strategies to achieve and surpass client KPIs.
• Utilize a strong understanding of feed management, including strategy and implementation within platforms (e.g., Feedonomics, Shopify), to guide clients, managed service teams, and agency teams in enhancing shopping campaign performance.
• Deliver both proactive and reactive performance insights along with optimization recommendations by leveraging comprehensive data sets and tools.
• Proactively identify, experiment with, and scale innovative methodologies, automation possibilities, and emerging technologies (including AI applications) within paid search across your accounts to maintain a competitive advantage.
• Collaborate effectively with your peers in client partnership, creative, growth, and activation teams to ensure the successful execution of strategy and client stewardship.
• Be a narrative builder: translating complex search strategies into engaging campaign recommendations.
• Uphold best practices for your accounts in media planning, forecasting, budgeting & setup best practices, developing learning agendas, and performance analysis.
• Foster strategic partnerships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor on search and digital marketing.
• Provide critical insights and stay ahead of platform updates, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
• Supervise direct reports in strategy development while offering mentorship and training opportunities to support their career growth and fulfill client expectations.
• Assist in new business initiatives and pitches by conducting platform audits, crafting strategy presentations, and serving as the paid search expert within those presentations.
• Over 5 years of demonstrated experience in creating paid search media plans and strategic presentations.
• Previous involvement in new business pitches is essential.
• Ability to foresee client requests, team, and agency needs while providing proactive solutions.
• Expertise in research platforms, paid search platforms, and analytics dashboards.
• Certifications in digital marketing and/or paid search media strategy are advantageous (e.g., Google Analytics Certification, Microsoft Advertising Search Certification, Google Ads Search Certification, Google AI Powered Shopping Ads Certification, etc.).
