This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Lead enhancements in features and architecture for Ci's Mobile Applications.
• Provide mentorship to team members on best practices in mobile app development.
• Advocate for the integration of AI-assisted development tools and methodologies within the team.
• Write code on a daily basis and implement essential features for Ci's Mobile Apps.
• Support team members in resolving complex mobile app development challenges.
• Design and maintain automated testing frameworks.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to improve code quality and accelerate development speed.
• Offer input into the UX/UI design process to ensure that designs are feasible for implementation.
• Collaborate with the Product team to outline the mobile app roadmap.
• Coordinate mobile app development efforts with teams working on browser and REST API enhancements.
• Partner with the DevOps team to refine build, package, and deployment processes.
• Work alongside the QA team to enhance testing protocols and verify cross-device support.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in developing high-quality mobile applications.
• Proficient in bootstrapping new applications from the initial concept to publishing on app stores.
• Extensive experience with React Native for creating cross-platform applications for iOS, Android, and AppleTV.
• Familiarity with automated packaging and deployment solutions for Apple and Google Play stores, including fastlane and Bitrise.
• Experience in developing native modules using Swift, Kotlin, and Java.
• Proven track record in creating applications that interact with REST APIs.
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization principles applied in mobile development.
• Experience with Redux and RTK Query for state management in React Native.
• Previous experience working with fully remote teams.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted software development tools, such as GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT for code generation.
• Ability to assess and integrate AI tools to enhance code quality, shorten development time, and uphold best practices.
• Understanding of the limitations of AI and responsible use of AI in production software.
• Preferred: experience with digital media concepts.
• Preferred: experience in incorporating video playback into mobile applications, including Digital Rights Management.
• Preferred: working knowledge of server-side REST API development, ideally in C# and ASP.Net.
• Preferred: a history of staying updated with the latest Web UI technologies.
