Lead, Learning – Employee Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Manage the entire onboarding process for new employees, from pre-boarding communication to live sessions.

β€’ Collaborate with department heads to create customized onboarding pathways.

β€’ Provide onboarding for new hires, leaders, interns, and returning staff.

β€’ Conduct live learning and onboarding sessions for groups ranging from ten to over sixty participants, both in-person and remotely.

β€’ Design, develop, and oversee employee events both in-person and online.

β€’ Take charge of the event experience and agenda design, including workback plans, budgets, vendor management, executive briefings, communications, registration, and production.

β€’ Create and manage learning programs, including leadership foundations and mandatory/compliance training sessions.

β€’ Develop curricula and build programs on the learning platform.

β€’ Oversee logistics for learning programs.

β€’ Establish feedback mechanisms and metrics to assess program effectiveness.

β€’ Collaborate with Talent, Communications, IT, Brand teams, and senior leadership.

β€’ Continuously enhance programs based on feedback and performance analytics.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ A minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, delivering, and managing onboarding, learning, or employee experience programs from start to finish.

β€’ Proven ability to facilitate live sessions for diverse and senior audiences, both in-person and virtually.

β€’ Practical experience in planning and executing employee events from inception to completion, including experience with design, budgeting, vendor coordination, communications, and logistics.

β€’ Experience in instructional design and curriculum development.

β€’ Proficiency in building learning programs within a learning management system.

β€’ A data-driven mindset for measurement, feedback collection, and program enhancement.

β€’ Sound judgment in utilizing AI tools for content creation, maintenance, and program management.

β€’ Preferred: Experience with a learning management system like Docebo.

β€’ Preferred: Experience in organizing multi-day employee events for over 200 participants.

β€’ Preferred: Formal training in instructional design or facilitation.

β€’ Legally authorized to work in Canada.
