This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Design and execute HR strategies and practices that align with business goals.
• Serve as an advisor to business partners, collaborating within HR and assigned business units.
• Create initiatives that foster an outstanding employee experience.
• Support the organization in achieving business goals and navigating change.
• Implement strategies across various domains including organizational development, succession planning, workforce development, employee retention, organization design, and change management.
• Assess training needs for business units and individual executive coaching requirements.
• Promote a culture focused on employee satisfaction, quality, continuous improvement, high performance, diversity, and inclusion.
• Act as the main contact for leadership and employees in designated departments.
• Gain an understanding of business units and their strategic objectives.
• Offer insights on workforce planning, operational strategy, and HR practices.
• Provide daily performance management advice, including coaching, counseling, career advancement, and disciplinary measures.
• Ensure compliance with governmental, labor, legal, and reporting obligations.
• Collaborate with the legal department as necessary.
• Manage intricate employee relations matters.
• Formulate practices, procedures, and guidelines that align the workforce with the organization's strategic goals.
• Utilize analytics to evaluate business challenges, identify underlying causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Communicate information to relevant audiences effectively.
• Build and sustain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with other HR functions to ensure uniformity in practices, policies, and procedures.
• Create a diversity strategy that promotes inclusion.
• Engage in establishing departmental goals, objectives, and systems.
• Monitor organizational culture and employee satisfaction levels.
• Keep required federal and state postings updated.
• Assist with special projects and carry out additional assigned tasks.
• 4 years of progressive experience in Human Resources.
• Preferred experience in resolving complex employee relations issues.
• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience required.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, time management, and detail-oriented skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality concerning sensitive employee matters.
• Knowledge of organizational design and development principles.
• Experience in influencing partner decisions to drive departmental and organizational strategies.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and influence all organizational levels.
• Understanding of HR policies, procedures, and local, state, and federal employment regulations.
• Ability to analyze data, diagnose needs, and make swift and accurate decisions.
• Excellent teamwork capabilities and ability to function in a matrixed environment.
• Proficient in reading and understanding written and spoken English.
• Strong communication skills, both clear and effective.
• Ability to meet performance and attendance standards.
• Compliance with PacificSource privacy policy and HIPAA laws and regulations is essential.
• Capability to fulfill physical requirements such as stooping, bending, prolonged sitting/standing, repetitive typing/sorting/filing, and light lifting/carrying.
• Travel is required approximately less than 5% of the time.
