Business Analyst, ROPS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive analyses, including the creation of analytical models.

• Evaluate and quantify the business impact of various initiatives.

• Design automated reporting related to key business metrics.

• Utilize analytical tools such as SQL, Excel, Tableau, VBA, Python, and Access.

• Deconstruct complex issues and formulate effective strategies for resolution.

• Integrate analytical insights to recommend, facilitate, and promote strategic and process enhancements within the revenue cycle.

• Challenge existing operational practices to pinpoint opportunities for transformative change.

• Drive results and influence change through proficient written and verbal communication.

• Collaborate and engage with leaders across multiple teams as well as external vendors and insurance firms.

• Develop and uphold project plans.

• Prepare and present project updates to key stakeholders.

• Manage resources and time effectively in accordance with work priorities and value.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as STEM, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or Business.

• 1–2 years of relevant experience or applicable work background.

• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.

• Preferred experience with analytical tools like SQL, Tableau, VBA, Python, and Access.

• Strong quantitative and problem-solving capabilities, including analytical modeling and insight generation.

• Ability to convey complex concepts in a straightforward and easily understandable manner to diverse audiences, including senior leaders.

• Preferred experience in healthcare and/or revenue cycle management.
