This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Validate the existing connections among Oracle, custom applications, reporting tools, and external services.
• Create an accurate current integration map and pinpoint connections that pose the highest risk or require significant effort.
• Design the future integration architecture and establish rules for upcoming connections.
• Identify priority connections along with their migration sequence.
• Lead the technical requirements gathering and evaluation for the integration platform.
• Define practical patterns for APIs, events, file transfers, scheduled transfers, monitoring, and error management.
• Collaborate closely with the Oracle Technical Architect and the Security Architect.
• Estimate the delivery effort, required skills, dependencies, and technical risks for each phase.
• Create clear diagrams and decision documents for senior business and technology executives.
• Ensure a smooth handover into the implementation phase.
• Work directly with Intelance's Chief Enterprise Architect and a small senior team during the definition phase of a significant enterprise technology program in the UK.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in technology architecture.
• Strong recent experience in leading enterprise integration architecture initiatives.
• Proven experience from at least three programs involving ERP, Oracle, custom applications, or complex legacy systems.
• Hands-on experience in replacing direct system connections with a managed integration approach.
• Solid understanding of APIs, messaging, event-based integration, file transfers, and batch processing.
• Experience in evaluating integration platforms and implementation partners.
• Ability to transform incomplete technical information into clear decisions, cost estimates, and delivery steps.
• Proficient in creating simple executive diagrams and detailed technical designs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Located in the United Kingdom and authorized to work in the UK.
• Available for approximately 28 days throughout an 8 to 10-week timeframe.
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain sectors is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Oracle estates is also beneficial.
• No specific integration platform is required as the selection has not yet been made.
• Engagement is subject to contract, reference checks, and an IR35 status evaluation.
• Flexible delivery schedule throughout the agreed 8 to 10-week period.
• Direct access to Intelance's Chief Enterprise Architect and high-level client decision-makers.
• A clearly defined project with specified outputs and decision points.
• Opportunities for follow-up architecture and delivery work, contingent on program approval and performance.
• Pre-approved travel expenses reimbursed separately.
