• Conduct a two-week solution discovery session with the client's IT department.
• Finalize the interface contract outlining SAP services, payload formats, error semantics, idempotency management, and retry strategies.

• Develop the write-back process to SAP for order modifications, cancellations, and return authorizations, including recorded reason codes.
• Implement validation, exception management, reconciliation controls, and concurrency oversight for failed, partial, and duplicate transactions.
• Identify available SAP services, review SAP releases, order state models, authorization thresholds, and historical order data volume and cut-off during the discovery phase.
• Collaborate with the existing program team, working alongside a US-based lead architect while engaging in sprint ceremonies and the testing cycle.
• Act as the primary technical authority on the integration.
• Draft the specification that the client's SAP team will utilize for development.
• A minimum of eight to ten years in Salesforce, currently serving as a solution or technical architect.
• Proven experience in delivering Salesforce to SAP integrations end-to-end, including transactional write-back to SAP rather than merely reading SAP data.
• Familiarity with transactional integration patterns such as idempotency keys, correlation identifiers, retry and backoff strategies, dead-letter handling, and reconciliation between two record systems.
• Experience with SAP sales order interfaces for creation, modification, and cancellation using both BAPI over RFC and OData.
• Knowledge of Salesforce integration mechanics, including Apex callouts, named credentials, platform events, External Services, and the Salesforce Order data model.
• Capability to draft an interface specification that is detailed enough for a third-party SAP team to follow, along with the ability to communicate directly with the client.
• Proficiency in English to engage with the program's ceremonies alongside a US-based team.
• Experience with the SAP Integration Suite, particularly Cloud Integration, is preferred.
• Salesforce Integration Architect certification is a plus.
• Exposure to manufacturing, consumer packaged goods, or food and beverage order-to-cash processes is advantageous.
• Competitive salary and performance-based incentives.
• Opportunities for professional development and certification.
• Collaborative work environment with a focus on innovation.
