This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.
• Lead and manage the design, development, and execution of automated testing strategies and frameworks.
• Supervise a team of test and quality automation engineers.
• Provide guidance on automation and formulate automation strategies.
• Establish and uphold best practices in test automation and quality assurance.
• Conduct evaluations of automation tools.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to establish test automation goals and objectives.
• Work alongside DevOps teams to incorporate automated tests into CI/CD processes.
• Track and report on test automation metrics and KPIs.
• Drive ongoing enhancements of test automation processes, tools, and standards.
• Lead initiatives focused on innovation, including AI advancements.
• Create and document training materials.
• Deliver training on automation tools and frameworks.
• Act as a subject matter expert for quality automation engineers.
• Offer guidance, direction, and prioritize tasks for the team.
• Conduct manual testing when necessary.
• 7 to 10 years of testing experience, including 4 to 5 years in automation testing or equivalent automation training.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in managing and mentoring test automation teams.
• Strong familiarity with core Java programming concepts.
• Expert-level skills in Java.
• Extensive experience with Selenium, Karate, JUnit, and TestNG.
• Excellent API automation skills using Karate.
• Strong UI automation experience with Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD processes and tools.
• Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
• Unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa, including CPT/OPT.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience with JMeter and LoadRunner is a plus.
• Experience in an AWS cloud environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is advantageous.
