This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Oversee product strategy and execution for Aetna’s Employee Assistance Program.
• Guide the strategic development and rollout of significant product initiatives, encompassing new products and enhancements.
• Embed product strategy within the overarching business strategic and operational plans.
• Supervise product managers tasked with product development, vendor selection and oversight, financial planning and tracking, and project management.
• Formulate product management and development strategies that align with organizational objectives, market trends, and customer demands.
• Perform market research, analyze customer insights, and monitor industry trends.
• Create product roadmaps and prioritize features and enhancements.
• Oversee the product development lifecycle, including planning, backlog management, and iteration reviews.
• Manage vendor selection and performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales enablement on product launches, campaigns, onboarding, and adoption initiatives.
• Define product requirements, features, and user stories in conjunction with cross-functional teams.
• Align executives and internal stakeholders on objectives and product launches.
• Cultivate relationships across Sales, Account Management, and Operations to ensure product development and user experience meet customer expectations.
• Design and track KPIs and product performance metrics.
• Develop investment requests and monitor performance against business cases.
• 10–15 years of relevant professional experience.
• 3–5 years of proven experience managing a product portfolio and steering the complete product lifecycle.
• Proven experience in team leadership, including managing direct reports.
• Demonstrated capability to lead projects and influence both internal and external stakeholders, including at the executive level.
• Strong execution and delivery skills.
• Proficient in business intelligence.
• Excellent collaboration and teamwork abilities.
• Expertise in problem-solving and decision-making.
• Strong growth mindset.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, specialized training, or relevant professional certification.
• If the candidate possesses an associate’s degree, an additional 2 years of experience is required.
• Certified Product Manager (CPM) is preferred.
• Experience in managed care or healthcare is preferred.
• Digital product experience is preferred.
