This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
β’ Act as the primary contact for achieving value realization on significant rebate contracts across the Commercial, Health Exchange, Medicare, and Managed Medicaid sectors.
β’ Monitor and verify the value delivered under manufacturer rebate agreements.
β’ Ensure that negotiated discounts on branded pharmaceutical products are accurately realized, reconciled, and reported.
β’ Address rebate and contract disputes with manufacturers promptly and in a mutually agreeable manner.
β’ Collaborate with the Executive Director and Vice President of Trade Relations on negotiation strategies.
β’ Utilize value performance metrics, utilization data, forecasts, and dispute trends to enhance contract performance.
β’ Cultivate and maintain relationships with manufacturers and industry partners.
β’ Coordinate with finance, clinical, operations, and client teams regarding value drivers, forecast assumptions, and dispute positions.
β’ Create and present executive-level reports on value performance, forecast changes, and dispute resolutions.
β’ Maintain responsibility for rebate contracting outcomes from execution to realized value.
β’ Broaden the role and take on additional responsibilities.
β’ Develop and manage team members.
β’ At least 8 years of experience in managed care, which may encompass PBM, Pharma, market access, account management, specialty pharmacy, or other payer-related experience.
β’ Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time, as needed.
β’ Strong analytical abilities, including proficiency in handling large claims and rebate data sets using Excel, SQL, Tableau, or similar tools.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
β’ Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
β’ Bachelor's degree is required.
β’ A Masterβs or advanced degree is highly preferred.
β’ Over 4 years of experience in negotiating contracts within the Healthcare or PBM industry is preferred.
β’ Robust knowledge and understanding of pharmaceutical rebates, 340B/other government programs, and prescription benefit designs is preferred.
β’ Familiarity with pharmaceutical pricing and reporting of pharmaceutical products is preferred.
β’ Experience in managing, negotiating, or resolving rebate or contract disputes with pharmaceutical manufacturers is preferred.
β’ Understanding of formulary management and its impact on rebate performance is preferred.
β’ Ideally located within the EST or CST time zones.
