Lead Developer, Senior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Oversee the comprehensive design and development of high-performance, robust enterprise web applications.

• Create frontend applications utilizing contemporary UI templates, HTML5, CSS, and Angular.

• Design, deploy, and manage secure, scalable AWS cloud environments leveraging services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and API Gateway.

• Develop and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.

• Ensure seamless data flow across frontend, backend, and database layers.

• Mentor technical teams and perform code reviews.

• Establish and promote software development best practices.

• Lead CI/CD initiatives.

• Work collaboratively with stakeholders, product managers, and UI/UX designers in an Agile setting.

• Convert business requirements into effective technical solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Current Secret clearance.

• Valid CompTIA Security+ / IAT level II certification.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 8–10 years of relevant experience.

• At least 3 years of Agile development experience using Azure DevOps or Jira with Git repositories.

• Proven experience in building and supporting web- and cloud-based applications.

• Hands-on experience in developing and deploying applications within AWS environments.

• Extensive knowledge of Angular, HTML5, CSS, and modern UI templates.

• Strong skills in Java and significant expertise with Spring Boot.

• Experience with Node.js for backend development, API integration, or tooling.

• Familiarity with designing and interacting with both relational and non-relational databases.

• Proficient in Git and contemporary CI/CD pipeline tools.

• Experience with Army HRC ASBS or companion systems is advantageous.

• Knowledge of SQL, API design and documentation, vulnerability analysis and remediation, Agile processes, and OOP principles is preferred.
