Lead Developer – Salesforce

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the daily technical operations of Salesforce software development initiatives within the Consumer Service and Support instance.

• Create and implement solutions that integrate Service Cloud, Consumer Goods Cloud, and Knowledge.

• Develop solutions through a combination of configuration and customization utilizing Apex, Flow Automation, Triggers, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components.

• Engage in daily scrum meetings.

• Analyze and allocate user stories.

• Identify and address gaps in functional requirements and user stories from the business side.

• Collaborate with Product Owners to define acceptance criteria and technical strategies.

• Automate business processes using Flows, Formulas, Assignment Rules, and Email Alerts.

• Construct Salesforce integrations with external systems employing REST, SOAP APIs, OAuth, and Single Sign-On.

• Oversee data updates and migrations using Data Loader and similar tools.

• Conduct code reviews, write unit and integration tests, and maintain high test coverage.

• Troubleshoot and resolve defects and issues in production.

• Mentor and support junior members of the development team.

• Investigate complex issues independently and communicate findings and solutions effectively.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development, including work on complex projects and multi-cloud Salesforce environments.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Extensive experience in Salesforce customization and configuration.

• Experience with Service Cloud and at least one of the following: Sales Cloud, Consumer Goods Cloud, Agentforce, or Data Cloud.

• Proficient in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, Triggers, Scheduled classes, and Batch classes.

• Experience in integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST, SOAP APIs, OAuth, and Single Sign-On.

• Knowledge of the Product Development Lifecycle and familiarity with DevOps tools.

• Understanding of Salesforce deployment processes and best practices.

• Ability to operate within Agile frameworks and manage task assignments effectively.

• Strong preference for Salesforce certifications such as Certified Platform Developer I & II, Certified Administrator, and Certified Advanced Administrator.

• Strong preference for Application and/or Technical Architecture Certifications.
